GP Pit Stop for road bikes // Longest Day Challenge pit stop 2 // MyMoto Derbyshire

£600 bikes, 1000miles, no motorways, in 24 hours. It's as crazy as it sounds... The Longest Day Challenge.

On the 21st of July, 50 bikers set off from lands end with the aim of getting to John O Groats, within 24 hours. That in it's self sounds like a challenge, but when you're not allowed to use motorways and your on bikes that were barely good enough to be sold as parts, it becomes a much bigger challenge.

This years event was particularly successful, with all but three of the fifty riders making it up to John O Groats and in the process, having raised over £120,000.00 for Cancer Research UK.
