Rudskogen August 2022: In hot conditions Daniel Kroken demonstrated how fast he is in a Formula Basic. Towards the end of the qualifying session, Kroken produced four nearly identical laps, all within 25/1000 sec of each other. Driving wise they were not entirely identical, there were variations and minor mistakes. Some of the variations were due to lower grip in the heat, and some were due to wanting to dip below 1.36 at Rudskogen.
Regardless, the fastest lap of 1.36,088 was a new personal best with almost half a second, and in better conditions we believe he would have been close to the lap record!
