Welcome to Part 9 of our motorhome adventure through France!
We kick things off in a Carrefour car park, mid-laundry run, before heading to a nearby free aire that was supposed to cost €6 — but the barrier was broken, so we got in for free.

Sounds great, right? Not quite...

Despite cooking up some dinner, we just didn’t feel safe or settled staying the night. With young kids onboard, we decided it wasn’t worth the risk. So, we hit the road again and made our way about 2.5 hours north to a familiar and reliable option — a Camping-Car Park aire just south of Tours in Esvres.

Although the night brought a little disruption from local teens, the aire itself was modern, secure, and exactly what we needed for peace of mind.
