5 Best Labs To Develop Film in New York City

Where to develop film in New York? What is the best film lab in New York? And which film lab in New York gives you the best value of your buck? Will the film photos even look different when it’s developed at a different film labs? Does which photo labs scan differently?

Today we are going to answer all of your questions about film labs with a film lab comparison video!

Here at UNDER DVLP, we are a bunch of curious nerds, and we are set up to do an experiment on film negatives and film labs in New York City. Using our Hasselblad 500C/M and 5 medium format film backs (A12 and 16), we took the same images on the same film stock (Fuji Pro400h) with the same lens (80/F2.8 and 120/F4). Minimizing every variables in the image making process. Hoping to test out only the differences in film developing and scanning at consumer and professional film labs. We sent out the rolls to five different film labs located throughout New York City:
