AMP SIMS SUCK!

AMP SIM PLUGINS SUCK! …or so I'm told told. 🤔
In this video, I put that claim to the test using the Bogren Digital Ampknob Legends of Rock Bundle — one of the newest and most hyped amp sim plugins out there.

I recorded a full track using only these amp sims for a recent Episode of Banger on a Budget (   • Banger on a Budget Lyon LI15 by Washburn  , and honestly… I was impressed. In the performance video, I show the exact plugin settings during the parts of the song.

Are amp sims just a cheap imitation of tube amps, or are they finally good enough to use for professional recording, mixing, and even live guitar tones in 2025?
