Angel-Makers of Nagyrév: The Story of Widow-Makers of Hungary

The rise of the 20th century found the Hungarian village of Nagyrév fitted in the centre of a deep dark secret. Death knocked on many doors among the locals; Men, young and old, and even children were dying unexpectedly and in alarmingly high numbers. The village misfortune continued, until a criminal rumor unveiled a secret scheme and concluded with multiple arrests of women, later dubbed as the Angels of Nagyrév. But behind all the guilty, stood high, the mastermind, the one who embedded the idea of murder into their minds, as the only solution to their troubles. Today we will dive in to the story of the self-made widows led by Zsuzsanna Fazekas
