"Remote Control? How Managers Can Adapt to Our Hybrid Future"
In this session, journalist and Out of the Office author Anne Helen Petersen interviews Stanford economist Nick Bloom about the promise and perils of remote work. Nick has been studying this phenomenon since it was called telework, and his data help us understand who wants to––and who gets to––work from home, and why those differences may be giving rise to the next great diversity and inclusion challenge. He shares his evidence on the performance effects of remote and hybrid work and his predictions for where workplaces will land in the short-term and long-term.
Speakers:
Anne Helen Petersen, Writer at Substack, Co-Author of Out of The Office
