THOR - DEMO '87 [Czechoslovak Heavy Metal/Hard Rock from Kladno]

Thor are obscure heavy metal band from Kladno active in late 80s. They were formed in 1985 in "metal capital of Czechoslovakia" because POLDI - the biggest steelworks in the country operated there. They were originally known as BARBUS and played more hard rock oriented music but after little break changed its name and hardened their sound around 1987. At this time they were already somewhat of a local heroes in their area because no other metal bands were active there (musicians usually went to Prague where the scene was already well established). Thor recorded one demo tape before disbanding in 1988. You can see plenty of band photos during the first two songs. Enjoy!
