FERTILIZERS: Science and Challenges Behind Product Development

This video offers a detailed look at our team's work using enzymatic hydrolysis to cleave proteins into amino acids from high protein biomass. The process involves carefully buffering the pH to maintain the enzyme's activity, as it performs optimally in alkaline conditions.

Alongside the primary experiment, we also address a mechanical issue with a malfunctioning dryer, requiring an igniter replacement.

Our work focuses on repurposing waste streams into valuable products for the green industry, with this project exploring the potential of a novel feedstock for use in fertilizer production.
