This is a sad situation where some villagers came across a very young baby elephant been stranded off away from its parents for a while. King villagers took their time to feed and look after until the wildlife department came to take the baby to a closeby facility where they hold these elephants with protection and where they get treated. Wildlife department officers will be looking for the herd that this baby elephant belongs to. These young elephants cannot survive with stranger herds or alone in the wild and will require parental care, which these wildlife officers are able to provide. This video is not about caging these elephants, but securing them until officers find their family.
