INSANE MENTAWAIS SWELL!!! BIG RAW BARRELS IN INDONESIA AT EBAY - Better than Kandui!?

August 17th provided one of the best swells of '24, if not the best day of waves in the Mentawais in Indonesia. With many of the pros going to Kandui, it left a spot 30 minutes north ripe for the surfing. With wind chop on Kandui and it being such a fast running wave, Ebay (the wave shown) was arguably better. That leads to the question: was this the best day of swell of the year at the best spot!?

We may have just gotten insanely lucky on our surf trip scoring this epic swell when it was planned well in advance, when many from around the world did a strike mission to the Ments to surf it.
