Dreamworld | The Claw Removal / King Claw Construction Update (Week 1)

King Claw Update / The Claw Removal at Dreamworld Gold Coast! Here is the first of many King Claw Updates. Here is what the site looks like now, after nearly a week after The Claw permanently closed. While the actual Claw ride is still there, a lot of the surrounding area has been removed and altered, such as theming, greenery, parts of the queue and more. It's weird seeing it like this.

The Claw was an Intamin Gyro Swing, and opened at the park on 18th September 2004. The ride closed 27th January 2025 due to reaching the end of its service life. A large, new version of the ride called King Claw is due to replace the ride in late 2025.
