Prawaas 4.0 Bus Exhibition | Festival of Transporters | Volvo 9600 Upgrade | 🔋EV buses & More

Checkout the Latest buses and chassis on display at the Prawas 4.0 Exhibition held at BIEC Bengaluru. This event was held between 29 - 31 August 2024. Going with the latest trend, there were a lot of EV buses on display. EV buses from Tata, Veera etc. had many EV buses for display. Volvo 9600 got an upgrade in the Interiors dept. apart from that everything remains the same. The interiors now give a business class feel with the wider backrest and TV console. Anti-skid ladder to prevent any injuries. The window section also has been changed a bit with running lights. Probably the biggest attraction was the Veera MahaSamrat Electric & Diesel buses on display. The Electric Bus powered by Exponent claims to charge the battery in 15 mins with 1 MEGAWATT charging. The interiors of both Veera buses were the same but looks better. The diesel bus on display was already purchased by Salabham Travels, Kerala. The other EV bus that caught our attention was the Veera 10.5 mts EV bus powered by Sun Mobility with Battery Swapping Technology. So basically Sun Mobility would provide the operator with a charged battery and replace the old one in 2 minutes. They would have their robotic installation setup which can change the batteries in 2 minutes. So the operator would not have to wait for the charging time and just replace the battery. All this would be managed by Sun Mobility itself. Also I heard that this bus may run on Mangalore to Udupi route as Express buses. There were other electric buses from Tata Motors 7 mts. and 10.5 mts. buses. Mostly to be used as staff buses. JBM electric bus looked stunning and the interiors were good as well. However, this would rely on the usual charging station setup. This bus can do 320 kms on a single charge. Charging time would be 60 mins for 20 - 60%. Also on display was a Sleeper Seater bus from Future Autotech Global Ventures Pvt Ltd. This is a Bhopal based company and will have the body made by local coach Builders from Indore. This bus' s height seemed a bit too tall. Got to meet many bus operators at the event. I hope you guys like the video.
