We've got at least two comets coming up in January, and they are both very different. One has a short period and will be visible far from the Sun, not even getting as close to the Sun as we do. The other has such a long period, it might get ejected from the solar system and end up with no period at all! Furthermore, it gets much closer to the Sun that we do and may only be visible in the Southern Hemisphere.
