Fjord Fuzz has been exploring vibe circuits over the past few years and when the challenge came to replicate the thick swish and musical pulses of a classic vibe without a lamp and photocells, they dug deep to make sure all the beloved sonic characteristic were met--enter Midnattssol or “Midnight Sun”. The left side of this stealthy pedal features a Uni-Vibe section with a bypass switch, Chorus/Vibrato switch, Vibe Depth and Output Volume while the massive Rate control in the center governs it all. In front of the vibe circuit is a multi Fuzz that goes from thick sustain to jangley breakup all with your guitar volume.
Inside you’ll find two sets of dipswitches. One to select 3 flavors of fuzz: the default Fuzz Face, Zonk II and a secret third option that is smooth and creamy. The vibe gets its own bank to change the 4 all-pass filters from default Univibe to the rare Resly Tone. You can even choose your own filter settings to shake things up. Midnattssol also gives you expression rate control but activate the upper right footswitch to park the LFO and either turn the main knob to lock into a point in the sweep or manually rock the expression like a wah!
