This is a very hands on demonstration discussing total disolved solids, what they are, how they work and of course, how we can change them. Tips, tricks and why hot water heaters effect your TDS.
This is crucial for many fish in the tropical and ornamental aquarium fish trade as well as with keeping shrimp. Freshwater Shrimp and snails need a specific range of kh and gh as well as TDS to promote healthy exoskeleton development.
In this video we look at some experiments im doing , so that you dont have to. How does crushed coral effect TDS? what about limestone or iron rich decore? We talk about all this and more to make sure you and your fish are both getting the salts, minersls, anions and metals needed to survive
