Another power tip is making the rounds—this time about releasing the wrists for more speed. Steve Pratt recently posted a video explaining how wrist release plays a key role in generating power, even referencing legends like Sam Snead. It sounded compelling... until I took a closer look.

In this video, I break down what's actually happening in the swings of Sam Snead, Tiger Woods, Jon Rahm—and even Steve Pratt himself. You'll see why this tip might feel helpful at first, but could be doing more harm than good if you don’t fully understand your own swing dynamics.
