The weather forecast was patchy rain and strong wind, but this wild camping trip experienced an unexpected storm with heavy rain - torrrential rain at times - and gale force winds. Despite the windy, rainy, and stormy weather, the Vango MTN F10 barely budged and it was a brilliant camping trip :). And don't forget to get involved in the tent giveaway!

After receiving about 3 billion consecutive messages from Cassie who wanted to go camping, we organised a trip to the best mountain in the world - Meall Nan Tarmachan. She travelled from Milton Keynes by car for just the one night! Forecast was patchy rain for a few hours with wind speeds up to 40mph, then it changed to heavy rain with gale force winds up to 50mph. The rainfall was to last a few hours then a nice clear night but that certainly was not the case. We reached our destination and the rain started much earlier and for the rest of the experience we were pretty much trapped in our tents. The rain was torrential at times and poor Cassie's tent took an absolute pummelling. It also leaked so she took refuge in my bomb proof tent. Around 1am - 4am the rain and wind ramped it up again and some of the gusts were making the MTN F10 budge! An unexpected storm if anything. Oh and remember. Tent giveaway :)
