This week's Weekly Stratagem is pretty boring since it limits you to using ranged weapons. Melee is severely weakened and ranged damage is increased due to MAINTAIN DISTANCE condition. The best class to use for this Stratagem is Heavy, since he doesn't use melee for the most part. We also got ENEMY SIGHTED for armor on ranged kills to encourage even more ranged combat. BUFFED ENEMIES make the enemies more tanky and do more damage. The tankiness is mitigated by the increased ranged damage from MAINTAIN DISTANCE and extra damage is made up for from armor generation from ranged kills from ENEMY SIGHTED. You can generate a lot of armor from just killing minoris enemies.
The scariest part of this Stratagem is the DETONATION RISK condition. The explosive barrels can oneshot you or do significant damage to you if you are not careful. The explosions can hit you through walls so make sure you are far a way from barrels and walls when shooting a barrel. The barrels will cause a chain explosion. I like to clear them out from far away before battle happens or It can kill you when you shoot at them accidentally. Now after the first part of the map they mostly disappear until the elevator section, so they don't appear often, but during those sections you need to be careful.
For our weapon/perk choice we went with Heroic Heavy Plasma with Strategic Stand and Fire Rate Plasma Pistol. We pick as many ammo perks as possible because the Heroic Heavy Plasma does have bad ammo economy. We also use venting tech to never overheat plasma weapons. To do this press reload after every shot to instantly cooldown the weapon. This way we will never build heat to overheat. Note that this only works for common shots not charged shots.
Battlefield Conditions:
BUFFED ENEMIES - Enemies have increased Health and Damage
ENEMY SIGHTED - Ranged kills restore Armour based on enemy threat level
DETONATION RISK - Exploding objects are more common and much more dangerous in terms of radius and Damage
MAINTAIN DISTANCE - Melee Damage is greatly reduced bu Ranged Damage is increased
