Here is an idea for a sound-proof housing for a CNC 3018 machine, using simple woodworking skills and tools. Added an acrylic window and sound-absorbing acoustic foams. Also, LED strips were installed to enhance workability. Both CNC machine and the LED works on a single power supply, with a master on/off switch.

Materials used:
9mm-thick plywood
5mm-thick acrylic plate
Acoustic foams
LED strips
Trivial items such as push on/off switch, small hinges, etc.
