Happy Thanksgiving y'all!

[The capture is blurry as I was too late setting up the camera and had the manual focus set in the opposite direction than intended. I originally wanted to skip the video altogether but used this as a reason to practice editing in Resolve. It definitely produced a unique effect.]

Crank up that phone brightness because I intentionally brought down the unlit sky to black for OLED screens. Glorious darkness...

First time getting to use 1.4pro product and they really punched up the show. A proIine cake (red fireflies), a compound cake (197s Intensity), a slice, some thunder, and some 62mm single-shot cells. I also used three racks of direct matched shells (which took forever to setup) with QuickPlugs and QuickSplits (both 12-S and 4-P models), one periodically spread throughout the show for short bursts and the other driving the finale sequence.

14min definitely felt 'too long', but I do feel it was better than all the setup time ending up with 'too short' of a show.

There is a segment early on (and about two minutes long) which I dropped in some unknown Saturn Missile batteries. They ended up lasting for around 2 minutes - and were somewhat detrimental, so I dampened the audio when editing to avoid the sustained shrillness (but feel free to skip if whistles are very not your jam). The good news is I no longer possess any more saturn missile batteries 🙃
