We stayed in Skeldale House in Askrigg, the Yorkshire Dales for 3 nights which cost £450. It was used in the original series of All Creatures Great and Small and the Vets practice. We booked it through booking.com. It's in a great location, a short drive to Hawes, the home of the Wensleydale Creamery (not dog friendly so we didn't visit) and a lovely circular walk, as well as some lovely shops and pubs. The Bake Well is also definitely worth a visit, the links are below for further information
