Take a tour of the real Paradise Road!
This is "Mecca" for any real hot rodder on the planet! I stopped in Petaluma, CA north of San Francisco to see the American Graffiti film location for Paradise Road.
One side of the road is a golf course and the other side where the 55 crashed is now a vineyard.
This is American film and automotive history that is such a huge part of any "car guys" (or gals) memory or heritage. The amazing thing is they don't even have a sign, plaque or marker to let anyone know what took place here in 1972.
Back then it was about real cars, real locations, no CGI, computer graphics or green screens.
On the other side of the hills heading East past the end of the "drag strip" is Sonoma and Napa Valley.
Just glad I got to see it before it is completely gone!
