Elephant and Giraffe at Tembe Elephant Park

2 giraffes visit the waterhole at Tembe Elephant Park and are denied a drink by a bull elephant with very long tusks. Later, a small herd of elephants joined the bull.

A superb Nyala antelope is also at the waterhole.

The park is home to 250 elephants and is managed by the Tembe Tribal Authority.

The elephants are vaccinated to control the population in this relatively small reserve of 30,000 hectares
