Cupra Tavascan 2025 review: New Tesla Model Y rivalling electric car stands out from the EV crowd!

You might not have heard of the 2025 Cupra Tavascan yet, but you will remember it when you see it on the road for the first time. Yep, this mid-size SUV sure stands out from the crowd. In fact, it's arguably one of the most head-turning fully electric vehicles (EVs) that's been released to date. Now, that might not be saying much when its main rival is the potato-like Tesla Model Y, but we digress.

Of course, the coupe-style Tavascan has more going for it than just its looks, as the Volkswagen ID.4 relation is launching in Australia with 210kW/545Nm single-motor rear-wheel-drive (Endurance) and 250kW/675Nm dual-motor all-wheel-drive (VZ) options. Both are fitted with a 77kW lithium-ion battery pack, with their WLTP driving ranges rated at 534km and 499km, respectively.
