Why does the Srivilliputhur palkova have an enormous taste?
No one tells the answer as clearly. I'm also not perfect but my master G.Thangaraj is not like that he has knowledge about Srivilliputhur palkova. let's come to the point
Srivilliputhur is red sanded and western ghats surrounding the area, so there is lot of thulasi or Ocimum sanctum covering the area. The grazing cows also eat that thulasi so the milk taste is different from the other areas.
Due to the rich tasteness of the milk the srivilliputhur palkova has a marvelous taste and also has GI code as geographical indication for srivilliputhur palkova.
How to make palkova?
Ingredients :
Cow Milk 1 litre
Sugar 250 gm
enough
Experiment :
On the stove and use the aluminium or iron vessel in the low heat, then pour the milk in the vessel after brewing the milk add sugar and stir regularly without getting brownish. After the milk get condensed at light liquidity off the stove and transfer it into the other vessel. Leave it for cool 15 mins in the dry place. Thus the Srivilliputhur palkova is ready and serves it to the children to granny.
