Spiked Online Editor Tom Slater discusses a recent GBN article which states that electric cars with ‘Chinese components’ will be blocked from military sites due to ‘security concerns’.
“It's not all of our RAF military sites, by any stretch of the imagination but it does reflect a growing nervousness on the part of the state, on the part of the government, about potential room for espionage,” Mr Slater told Sky News host Danica De Giorgio.
“The Labour government have a very muddled position on this.
“Maybe this is the beginning of a more cautious approach.”
