dry detangling makes wash day easier

This is my first time dry detangling my hair EVER, and it was the beginning of the exposé of the "invisible damage" (i like to call it) that was hiding throughout the length of my wash and go natural hair. I've long struggled with rushing through the detangling proccess, and over the years, overmanipulating my curls. Dry detangling was the first thing that showed me just how damaged my curls are, and has led to my current routine of now prepoo detangling on damp hair instead of on ONLY soaking wet hair in the shower. Stretching my hair out has allowed me to fully examine and assess what is actually going on with my hair, from root to tip.
