Hey guys! Today, I’m sharing my nighttime skincare routine—something I swear by, especially for tackling hyperpigmentation and keeping my skin hydrated. Step 1: Cleansing Oil – The First Cleanse
First things first—removing makeup and sunscreen. No matter how tired I am, I NEVER skip this step because leftover makeup and SPF can clog pores and cause breakouts. I start with a cleansing oil. Right now, I’m using one that melts everything off my face, from foundation to waterproof mascara. I gently massage it into my skin, letting it break down all the dirt and oil that have built up throughout the day. After massaging for about a minute, I emulsify it with water and rinse it off. This step ensures that my skin is clean without stripping it of its natural moisture.
Step 2: Gentle Cleanser – The Second Cleanse
Next, I go in with a gentle cleanser to remove any remaining residue. Double cleansing is a must, especially if you wear sunscreen and makeup. The cleanser I use is super gentle and hydrating, leaving my skin feeling fresh and clean but not tight or dry. I work it into my skin in circular motions and then rinse it off with lukewarm water. My skin already feels so much lighter and refreshed!
Step 3: Treating Hyperpigmentation with Kozicare Cream
