Webinar: Economics of Cover Crops on Minnesota and Wisconsin Farms

This webinar presents valuable findings on the financial impacts of cover crops across 141 farms in Minnesota and Wisconsin in 2023. The findings build on an ongoing collaborative study between Environmental Defense Fund, University of Minnesota’s Center for Farm Financial Management, Minnesota State Farm Business Management program and other partners that examines the financial costs and benefits of cover crops in Minnesota and surrounding states between 2022-2024.

Presenters include Vincent Gauthier and Mai Lan Hoang (Environmental Defense Fund), Pauline Van Nurden (University of Minnesota’s Center for Farm Financial Management) and Keith Olander (Minnesota State Farm Business Management program).
