1970 Chevelle SS 454 With An UNEXPECTED Surprise!

In episode 180 of Cars, Shops & Collections, we visit our good friend Sheri Goldstrom from Nostalgia Street Rods to check out her 1970 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE SS 454 — and what a wicked ride it is!

I’m lucky to call Sheri and her family friends… Her parents Art and Shirley Goldstrom created Nostalgia Street Rods, a must visit car and truck museum here in Las Vegas. Sheri proudly continues her parents legacy by running the museum today.

We’ve featured many of Sheri’s cars in the past, but we were super excited to come by and see her 1970 Chevelle SS 454. This episode was shot outside the South Point Casino, making it even more unique. The South Point hosts several car events throughout the year, including the South Point Car and Truck Show that benefits Speedway Children’s Charities…An event Sheri is heavily involved with. We filmed this episode just days before the big show and Sheri’s Chevelle was the crown jewel of the show.

This 1970 Chevelle SS 454 has it all: a working cowl induction hood, the legendary 454 engine, gorgeous SS badging, and that unmistakable Super Sport bumper on the rear end. It’s a true street machine. Back in the 1970s, if this car pulled up next to you at an intersection, you knew a drag race was about to go down.
