She couldn't walk from her stall to the arena without spooking multiple times. The barn door opening made her cower in the corner of her stall. The parked four wheeler was terrifying. The tractor running was a no-go. The neighbors cows were the last straw. But those are just symptoms of a much bigger issue. This mare doesn't trust people to have her best interest in mind and take care of her, so we're going to change that, one baby step at a time.
This mare came to us to be trained for ranch riding, but also to build her confidence. I didn't plan to spend first few sessions on ground work, but if that's what the horse needs, that's where I'm going to start.
