Douce Ambience was written by Django Reinhardt and Stefano Grappelli. Here I play it on ukulele using a looper pedal so that I can play both the lead and rhythm parts at the same time.
If you only want to hear the finished piece where I play both parts then jump the video forward to 1 minute 27 seconds. Otherwise in this video I explain how I use the looper pedal as I go along.
I am using a Kala CEME Concert ukulele plugged into a Nux Looper pedal. The music for this version is taken from the very excellent 'Gypsy Jazz' for ukulele by Hal Leonard - if you are into this kind of music and play ukulele its a great book.
