Besonnen, voller Spannung, fast meditativ: die Milonga en Re zeichnet sich durch ihre Zurückhaltung und Zaghaftigkeit aus, die stellenweise von expressiven, kraftvollen Passagen unterbrochen wird.
Der zweite Teil unserer diesjährigen Piazzolla-Serie ist zugleich eine kleine Premiere: Es ist das erste Stück auf diesem Kanal, bei dem der Motor des Vibraphons zum Einsatz kommt. Wir finden, dass das Tremolo wunderbar zum Charakter der Milonga passt - was meint Ihr?
Calm, full of tension, almost meditative: this Milonga is largely characterised by it's reticence and diffidence which at places is interrupted by expressive, powerful passages.
It's the first piece on this channel in which the vibraphone's motor is used. We think that the tremolo suits the character of the Milonga perfectly - what do you think?
