Hi Friend,
Long time no upload i know! I have been very busy with lots lots more travelling in the past three month. So to begin with, here is my jourrney in Istanbul in Sep as my very first time in Turkey (my 31st new country).

As Napolean the third said, Istanbul would be the capital of the world if we only have one country in the planet. If you know the histories about this land, I think you probably will agree what he said.

I only spent 4 days and 3 nights over there, so many places I wanted to visit but unable to make it. The city left incredible impressions in my head, the amazinng Islamic decor in the palace, the spendid sunshine through the day, and of course, those adorable cats.

Here are some notes for you as usual :

Food 🥘 :

Old ottoman cafe & resteraunt - go for the clay pot beef/chicken/fish
Olden 1722 - fancy dinner option with amaizng bars
Cafe Naftalin K - Stylish cafe in Balat
Hafiz Mustafa 1864- famous chain bakery for Baklava


Places to visit (I only managed to do the Europe side):
Hagia Sophia
The Blue mosque

Dolmanbahce Palance (The new palace with European influence)
Topkapi Palace (the Old palace with ottoman traditional style）
Galata Tower - for the view from the top

Balat areas - don't miss this beautiful part of Istanbul
Tomtom areas - for styles ad independent designer shops
Istiklal Caddies - Independent street with histroies and vintage red 🚊

Bophrus cruise - make sure you book the sunset one as this will make a life time experiences
