Rayyan Zafar is a research postgraduate for Imperial College London’s Centre for Psychedelic Research and Neuropsychopharmacology group. He is also an Honorary Research Assistant at Drug Science, working alongside Head of Research, Dr Anne Schlag, on ground-breaking research, publishing scientific and policy reports as part of the Drug Science Medical Cannabis Working Group and Medical Psychedelic Working Group.
‘Action For Change’ was a unique conference, platforming people on the frontline campaigning for drug policy change in the UK. Rayyan presented a talk on the current failings in the UK Government's medical cannabis policy, policing and the actions that concerned citizens can take to help open up access and affordability of medical cannabis.
