Initial D Arcade Stage Version 1 Playthrough - Part 1: Myogi | ENG SUB | w/Wheelcam

Welcome to my Initial D Arcade Stage Playthrough Series! I'm a veteran Initial D player from the arcades and will be playing through all of the Arcade Stages here if possible! First up is the very first game in the series: Version 1 released in 2001! I hope you enjoy!

Version 1 playthrough will be done in 4 parts:
Part 1: Myogi
Part 2: Usui
Part 3: Akina
Part 4: Happogahara + Final

I am playing Version 1 through the emulator Demul with my Logitech G29+Shifter. Please do not ask me how, you can easily find out if you just search. That's what I did.

All translations to English are done by myself as I can understand Japanese.

➤ Background History:
It's been a very long time since I've actually sat down and played through all the games. So I decided to record a playthrough of each game for not only myself to look back on, but also to give the community a decent high quality playthrough from a veteran player. You won't see any of the choppy/snappy steering you see if someone was playing with a controller or keyboard.

The last time I played Version 1 in an arcade was probably back in 2003. I didn't get to play this game hardly much as I was still young then and couldn't go out all the time.

I was lucky to have the chance to play every Initial D game in the arcades while I was growing up except Zero (never got it here). I've played Versions 1 - 8, and The Arcade. I love these games, especially Ver.3 being my favorite game. Though the newest The Arcade is growing on me. I always love coming back to play these games if I ever see them in an arcade now. I still have all my saved cards! Unfortunately all of my local arcades only have Version 8 now with 1 cafe store having a Ver.3 machine still.

Logitech G29+Shifter
540 Degrees of Rotation (same as IRL arcade)
10% Centering Force
50% Sensitivity
3rd Gear Mapped to Shift Down
4th Gear Mapped to Shift Up
Since its not a sequential shifter, I'm manually putting it back in neutral everytime. It just looks like I have a sequential mod or something.
