Adding a staircase to a deck in Sketch can be frustrating if you don't know which settings to change in the staircase properties. It took me a bit of time to discover all of the correct settings to get the staircase to properly match the deck elevation, but was easy once I figured out where to go.
In this video, I show you all of the shortcuts and tricks that I learned to easily add a staircase to the deck. I highly recommend trying this in your Xactimate at least once, just to see how it works. It's actually quite satisfying once you get everything lined up and it all connects!
