Comparing four vintage Neumann microphones: U87Ai, U67, and two U47s.
The U47s are original with VF14 vacuum tubes and BV08 transformers. One has an original brass-ring K47 capsule while the other has an original M7 capsule that was reskinned with Mylar by John Peluso of Peluso Microphone Lab in Willis, VA.
All samples are level matched, running through Grace preamps and Burl conversion. There is no additional processing.
