For the first Wednesday this month, we went to this P-15 near the Eastgate Mall in Clermont County. We've had this unit on our radar for a while now, but we hadn't gotten around to recording it until now. It had been nearly a year since I last heard a 9/12 port Penetrator, and this certainly gave me a nice reminder as to how shrill these things are. They definitely don't shake the ground as much as some other sirens, but they sure do have a hell of a bite. This particular one hit 119.1 dBC on my meter, and it felt about on par with the one off of Locust Corner Road to my ears if my memory serves me right. It was probably slightly louder than the one off of Concord Road, but not quite as loud as the one in Montello, WI. Anyway, this one had a collapsed intake back in 2018, but it was fixed not too long ago. It is also a single-phase unit, as indicated by the wind-up. Overall, this was an awesome test, and it was nice to hear another one of these after not hearing any for the majority of 2023. Enjoy!
