"Thru the darkness I see Jesus" travel back in time when Slavic Christians Evangelized USSR by radio

This is a fragment with Jack & Ruth Shalenko from a longer video put out by the Slavic Gospel Association in the USA. It was designed to inform Slavic immigrants & English speaking Christians around the world about the hard work that goes on behind the scenes that encouraged the Slavic diaspora & helped bring many to Christ. I remember, as a little child in my birthplace -Melbourne, Australia (in the 1960's) how at bedtime we could hear the scratchy sound of across the corridor of my father's shortwave radio. We were used to falling asleep to that sound every night. Dad suffered from loneliness after the Slavic Christian community in China was scattered around the world fleeing from the communists. And down in Australia he would listen with rapture to the Slavic sermons & songs transmitted by these beautiful souls on his shortwave radio. They possibly even saved my father's life by inspiring him with hope in Jesus Christ, & praise the Lord, although he suffered through a hellish depression he was able to reject suicide & did not leave us ophans in that way. Dad died happily & quietly right here in Kelowna, Canada in 2014 at the age of 97.
