The Science of Sound Design Part 1: Sculpting Harmonics | Ableton Live Tutorial

Welcome to the first video in a series about sound design with Ableton Live. In this video we will be taking a look at harmonics and how they play into sound design with both subtractive and additive synthesis. Hopefully this will give you a better understanding of how a synthesizer works and allow you to make better choices when making sounds. We'll be following this video up with a closer look into other types of synthesis and more examples of how you can apply this knowledge to create specific sounds.
