Playing Basketball with Famous Dex, Talks Mental State, NLE Choppa (1on1 Interview)

Next up on our 1on1 interview series, Arshan challenges Famous Dex to a game of H.O.R.S.E. Famous Dex is best known for his hit songs Japan, Pick it Up ft ASAP Rocky, Drip From My Walk + being signed to Rich the Kid’s Rich Forever label. As we brought him to the court, a police officer ended up telling us to leave, since we weren’t allowed to play basketball at the court for some reason. We explained to him that there were other people playing all day but they never got told to leave, and that it would just be us and Dex playing for 15 minutes. Eventually, he let us play and we got right into it. Between the basketball, Dex talks about his current mental state, quitting drugs and lean, making an album dedicated to his mother Diana, who passed away in 2016 due to breast cancer, and lastly, Arshan plays him a video clip of Jamal Crawford reacting to the song Dex made about him, called “Jamal Crawford”. Check out the ending to see who won, and if Arshan got the water dumped on him. This interview was filmed in part of our “LA content”, so the next and final H.O.R.S.E interview for the year will be the interview with DDG. Kids Take Over is based out of Vancouver, Canada.
