I wanted to set up a dual-boot system with Windows 11 Pro and Linux.
While the Windows installation went smoothly, the Linux installer threw an unexpected error: Bitlocker is active!
The strange part? Bitlocker appeared as inactive in Windows Explorer.

How to check the real Bitlocker status using `manage-bde -status`,
Why Bitlocker might seem disabled but still be active,
How to properly disable Bitlocker with `manage-bde -off C:`,
