12 Speed CHAINLINE Explained - 52 vs 55 vs 56.5 mm, Shimano SLX M7100 vs M7120 Cranksets

CHAINLINE - 49, 52, 55, 56.5 mm , what crankset? More tire clearance, what crankset to choose? #Shimano 12 speed drivetrains use different #crankset to address that, but they don't offer a 49mm #chainline for the older 142 and 135 mm rear spacing frames.
