Belly Busting Billions
Healthcare is tasked with paying for many things. Obesity is something that general government pays for. Who pays for the bigger toilets to accommodate our overweight public? The park benches, the bus seats, and the list continues! Obesity is costing around $190 Billion! Weight-gain has no gain at all, and we need to see the cost to us as human beings, and the impact on our society.
Are diets the answer? In some cases, yes. But diets are really for most people a stop-gap between eating what they like, and eating to lose weight. Once the weight is lost, back to eating what they want to eat. What we need to educate ourselves about is how to change our eating habits so we don't have to diet. then we will start reducing costs, making eating a fun thing, with no side effects!
Eat better, live better, and love your body, as well as who you are!
