Kloppenborg returns to History Valley podcast to explain why scholarship concluded that Mark is the First Gospel and explains why Matthew and Luke are independently using Mark while not using each other. Some critics of Markan priority who believe in either a Proto-Mark or Matthean priority point to the minor agreements in which Matthew and Luke agree with each other against Mark in material seen by some as more primitive in wording than Mark and Dr. Kloppenborg will address this as well.
