In this week's episode we started the trek South from Port Douglas. Our Destination: Rainbow Beach, some 1,500 kms away. On the way, we stop off for a quick visit and a coffee in Palm Cove. We wander the jetty and take in the views of it's picturesque beach. We think it's just cruel to have a beach so beautiful and yet so dangerous #croccountry #crocwise

Next we visit the beautiful Josephine Falls, a stunning 150m waterfall that cascades into an enticing natural swimming hole. Surrounded by the lush rainforest and towering trees of the Wooroonooran National Park, Josephine Falls is the perfect spot to cool off, relax and connect with nature.
We spend a night in Bowen, a charming coastal town. From it's stunning beaches, scenic coastal walks, historic architecture and fresh, delicious seafood, we have been convinced to visit again and spend more time exploring and, of course, fishing!
