I’m going to share with you 5 ways to get more book reviews!

First, why do book reviews matter?

Book reviews matter in two ways:
1. People love social proof. They want to know they’re not throwing their money out the window. So they look at book reviews(positive and negative) to help them decide if the product they’re looking at is what they’re looking for.
2. Amazon’s Algorithm’s job is to provide the customer with the most RELEVANT product what they searched for. In general, we are a lazy species. So for a customer to purchase a product and then come back and leave a review (positive or negative), is a big deal. So the Amazon Algorithm looks at customer reviews to help determine relevancy.

OK so now we know that getting book reviews is important to the customer and the amazon algorithm. So how do get more book reviews?

That’s right, you want to make leaving a review as easy as possible. So, instead of having a customer go to your Amazon’s sales page, scroll to the bottom, click “Write a Customer Review”
