Since 2019, it has been on my bucket list to visit the famed Iron Range in Northeast Minnesota where CN's former DM&IR lines host a fleet of vintage EMDs and GEs hauling loaded taconite and limestone. I finally made the trek out in the first week of November 2022 after getting word that new GE AC44 rebuilds would be replacing most if not all of the old EMDs and GEs that call the Iron Range home. All four days we were there we were blessed with fantastic weather and even better trains so sit back and enjoy the 2 hours of footage we captured on the former DM&IR. Thanks for watching!
